In short, if the car is in decent shape, stock examples sell easier than heavily modded ones. Many buyers won't touch modded cars and others want to mod the car themselves. That eliminates two segments of the buying public which already is very sparse during the holiday season.

I would put it back to stock as much as possible if you have saved your stock parts. The car will sell easier and you can recoup some funds from selling your mods.

how much are you selling it for and what shape is it in?

if you expect to get what you paid for it or have in it, that's the problem...these cars have dropped in value a TON in the last couple years

I bought my bone stock, hard top, full option SS w/ 1LE package with 53k on it for $12,000. WS6's go for a little more. 15 doesn't sound too bad if you find someone that has to have one. The car being black makes it even better.

I had a friend with a cammed 01 SS with supporting mods. Had 43K miles on it also, 6 speed, pewter, and spotless! Ran awesome. He was only able to get $12,500 after a few months on the market.

I have someone buying mine for $12,750 this week with 53K miles. Stocker ones are easier to sell.

I see your problem being 2 things, maybe both: price and/or winter (bad time to sell).

Yea i sure have bad timing lol i will most likely put it back to stock just leave on the catback and lid and at least i will have a couple hundred bucks in my pocket. Ive had a few calls its hard to judge how serious people are most of the time they like to play games for some reason but i shall see i geuss.

Back when I sold my 98 I learned a couple things.

You cant expect to sell a car with mods on it to "regular" people. They just dont know how to apprisiate that kind of thing. So unless you find someone who is nuts about our cars like we are just put it back to stock and sell it. Thats what I did minus the lid and catback.

I also learned that theres going to be MANY people that are gonna come waste your time and then lowball you a crazy price.

I cant imagine trying to sell my current car right now with this ecconomy the way it is. Then, with all the ******** who want your car for close to nothing on top of that.

i would go back to stock honestly...
i had a built car with brand new rear end, suspension, 39k miles and i got way under 15k....
youve got to price the car to sell, its not a sellers market and these cars don't exactly retain their value
