Is there a way to fake out o2 sensors instead of getting sims?

Take it to your tuner and have him shut them off. I have not been tuned yet but I see people saying the tuners can do that.

You could have o2 sensor bungs welded in. Any muffler shop should be able to do it for you.

Why would you want to install rear O2 sensors if you're just going to tune them out anyway?

With tuning, the SES light can be turned off with or without the actual sensors being in the exhaust system.

Shouldn't cost more than $50-$75. If your going to get a Tune for the car, I wouldn't waste your money doing it though.

Not if they are turned off in the tune.

What type of inspection? If it's an extensive visual inspection (like CA), then just having LT headers will cause you to fail (with or without sensors or cats).

But if you just have an OBD scan inspection (like the guys above are mentioning), then with proper tuning you will pass.

My car passed with LT's in CA twice now. You can also shut off O2's with most hand held programmers.
