Default o2 sensor question

hello i have a 98 camaro with the ls1 and i recently bought the pacesetter lts with catless ypipe.... i only hooked up 2 o2 sensors into the headers and never hooked up the other 2 bc there wasnt any spots for them in the ypipe... will this effect the way my car runs?

it shouldnt but when you go get your car tuned for the headers they should tune out the other o2 sensors

You should have posted both of you issues in the same post because its more than likely related. get a mail order tune from Frost and that should fix all your issues. and was it cutting out like that before the header install

it started after the header install. had it tuned on a mustang dyno... the guy said he didnt understand why it was cutting out. so you think the missing o2s is telling the computer the wrong info?

start checking for melted wires than. your said nothing about having a tune and frost is one of the best tuners around. did you tune it up when you were doing the header install? did you take the spark plugs out during install?

The rear o2's do not affect how the car will run and only tell the PCM if your cats are not functioning and will trigger the ses light unless tuned out.

I saw your other thread and if this car is stock internal wise why are you trying to turn 6500. Did this dyno operator set your rev limiter and shift points up because stock you should shift at 6k???

Other than an SES light no.

All the rear o2s do is monitor catalytic converter function.
