Default SLP Options

I have searched on here and google and can't find what the difference is with the SLP package camaros. My SS has the SLP package so I was just curious. Maybe someone on here can sum it up real quick or has a good link for it??

Thanks!

When your Z28 went to SLP and got the base level package it got a new badges, hood, spoiler, and silver wheels. All SSs got this. You could option them to get more stuff. Examples of "added content" extras are: Bilstein/Eibach suspension, better tires, chrome 10 spokes or chrome 5 spokes (17x9), car cover, key-chain, SLP grille, Dual/Dual catback, SLP lid, CME (center mount exhaust) tips. Those all cost extra over the price of the original Z28, plus the SLP SS package which was about 3k if I remember right. If you have "added content" you will have stickers in your passenger door jamb indicating what options your car came with. No sticker means no options, or some replaced the door/painted over the sticker.

Everything I said was right....that stuff you said, was not right.

I was only refering to LS1 SSs, in no way shape or form was I refering to LT1 cars or Pontiacs.

Forgot to mention they offered an Auburn limited slip option as Torsen was standard on 99 and up. They never offered gear changes though. And all auto SSs started life as 3.23 Z-28s. No 2.73 cars were ever converted.

ah I see now the SS was a option on top of the Z28 for the 98+ cars.

I purchased my 99 SS in january of this year. I was also curious myself as this was my second SS I've owned. I called SLP, gave them my VIN # and they varified that it was a real SS and told me what options it was equiped with. They also told me that it was build # 0045. Just give them a call if this is what information you're wanting to know.
