Default procharger vs h/c/fast

So I may buy my old Ws6 back. It is a forged 347 P1SC kit with bolt ons stock heads 222 cam headers full exhaust. makes 10lbs of boost and should be high 500's rwhp. It did feel a little doggy down low. I am looking for a fast stop light to stop light car, not a high end track car. Car has a 3.73 12 bolt. So should I keep this set-up or go with a 228/230 cam, AFR or Trick flows and a ported fast? My tuner claims this blower is parasitic down low and they really don't make mych boost until 3500rpm.

I'm not a FI expert, but it seems suprising to me that a supercharger is laggy in low rpms since it's belt driven...is there a smaller pulley available to increase boost for your blower? Maybe that coupled with the different cam will help give you what you're looking for.

Why the p1sc over the d1sc? I would think with that current setup, it shouldn't feel groogy in the low RPM's.

bought the kit used and it came with P1SC. The blower is a 3.4 pulley about the lowest one wants to go otherwise big time belt slip. I would just think a stout h/c/I may hit harder down low and go??

I would think traction on the street would already be hard to find with that setup and more lowend would only make it worse...

with prochargers boost is relevant to rpm due to the belt driven nature.. if you want roots style tq down low buy a terminator

I noticed a big difference off the line when I went to 4.11 gears ( & cnc ported tb at same time)

What gear did you previously have? The car has 3.73 now maybe 4.10 is the way to go?

As an M6, mine had the stock 3.42. Interesting that your M6 has 3.73. Are you sure? From what I understand, 3.73 is what automatics upgrade to from 3.23.

Anyway yes, from 3.42 to 4.11, I definitely jumped out across the line much faster without that initial heavy, lugging feel. Of course, you shift into 2nd sooner as well, but it feels normal and right. And the throttle response from the cnc ported tb was also noticeable.

500 RHP and it feels 'doggy'

You are not dumping the clutch correctly, you should be able to make women cry with that kind of power. Come one man, DOGGY? hahaha
