EGR is blocked off? Do you have a picture of the top? From the bottom it looks like a LS6 to me.

No, the EGR plug is on top of the manifold (only on ls1, no EGR on ls6)

see the diamond looking area at the very front of the intake in the pic above? On an LS1 intake there is a hole there where the EGR plugs into.

Below is a picutre I found with a blocked off EGR (LS1 intake)... notice the difference?

Just fyi , the egr block off thing is kinda not a good way to tell a ls1 vs ls6, really only early ls1 vs later ls1.
heres how i know.

this is a ls6

this is a ls1

Nice pics. I've always looked for the flat bottoms too, when trying to determine the intake is an LS6 or not.

as far as the coolant lines go, i'm not sure and haven't really looked it up yet..

I'm actually having most of my work done by slowhawk and there are some decent issues with my car that they are trying to figure out, so while its apart im having the ls6 intake thrown on there as well

thanks guys

Your options are a LS6 coolant tube and plugs or to knock off the ribs on the bottom of the intake.

Right on. I would go with knocking off the ribs on the bottom. A hammer and chizel work wonderfully.

Just an FYI... There are LS6 intakes that were equipped with EGR from the factory.

Nope. SLP made some with the EGR fittings, but none came like that from the factory.
