120k.. thats nothing. Its high enough to where i would probably go through the bottom end when its h/c/i time. But my car has over 200k with bolt ons and i drive it hard every day with out a problem. No oil consumption outside of the pcv and made 304whp pre tune with only ebay headers and flowmaster.

160k here. Owned it for the past 30k and it's loved every beating it's taken. Put a bus length on an 08 GT yesterday actually lol. Just keep up with maintenance and it will return the favor.

Mine died at 165K. Oil pump bypass stuck and took it out. If I could do it over again, I would put a cam and oil pump in it before 150.

bought mine with 218k and it was my dd for more than a year. Pretty much the only original thing is the body which has no rust on it. I'd do a good tune up and check for any leaks or worn out suspension components.

LOL! 287k here. Replaced ABS unit, slave cyl, rebuilt rear, and front knock (my fault). Now I need an AC compressor.

I'm at 168k with a cam nitrous gears etc and still pulls pretty hard. Can't say I haven't dropped a good amount of money in it for mods and things that needed "replacement" but can any of us actually say that lol

119K right now on mine! Engine pulls and runs like a champ. Just replaced the T-stat and just ordered a new clutch and hydros.

Do you guys really think an LS would throw a rod or piston with heads/cam at only 120k? I've seen plenty of guys running decent heads/cam setups at this mileage.

I sold my 2002 Formula at 212K and it was running good. Mind you though I daily drove the vehicle and the motor was near dead stock. The LS1 will last longer than other parts on the car. I lost my A/C compressor at 189K so I just replaced all the A/C at the time, replaced my power steering pump, lines, and the rack at 208K, and had to replace both front hubs at 200k or so.

Normal maintenance I think is key to keeping the car running. I put in MSD wires every 50K and changed the NGK iridium plugs every 20K miles. I changed the oil every 4K miles using only German Castrol 0w20 and ran an Amsoil EAO64 filter. Other normal maintenance such as pads, rotors, and filters are obvious.

The real weak point with the vehicle was the suspension. Mine ran like a champ but the suspension was past worn. For a daily driver it was no big deal, but you lose a great deal of handling running a 100K stock suspension. I would have replaced the suspension very soon if I had not have sold it.
