Not sure if it will be a Bird or a Camaro, so now where do I post?
Thank you for your help and direction

Once you purchase the car, you can use either the Camaro specific section or the Firebird specific section for your build thread.

While you're shopping, if you have questions on the value of specific examples, please use the "What's it Worth" section.

So... all it needs is the engine itself? It would come with all the wiring, the transmission, etc.?? If so, go with 1/2 and see ... that's a LONG drive! I know, I've done it many times. At least you can use major highways for the entire trip(once you reach the 1st one if you live in the stix).

Nice car id think thats a good start this way you can build it exactly how you want and you know exactly what you have. Good luck on building it if you decide to get it

Default Truth

I do not think it is an exceptional buy. Delivery from Texas to So. Car. is $1k. A decent engine is worth $2k. A transmission is worth $1.5k. Already you have $6500.00 invested without labor.

The trans is already in the car, based on photographic evidence... She would need a bell housing and clutch set, but those are easy.

So she's back down to 5k and she mostly wants to do the labor. 5k into a solid running 4th gen with your own engine sounds good to me. It could easily be an 11 second car.

The only real concern will be the rear. Well, once the interior has been fully verified(looks like a decent stereo added).

I just sold my Hugger Orange today for $17,000 with only 4,700 miles, I may buy another Ls1 or an Lt1 for my daily driver, something that I don't have to keep in the garage.

I commend you for not asking for the buyers 1st born child too... you didn't, did you? Someone got a very good deal with that low mileage. I expect it's in stellar condition.

About the only thing I'd consider where you are starts with a J... or at least has 4 drive wheels. Of course, a Corvette always sounds nice, but limited use is certain.

I have always bought cars that would stay in the garage and we're hardly driven, this one I bought new in 1999 and hated to use it here because of the winters, before that one I sold my 1991 Z-28 1LE with only 3,000 miles because of the same reason, now I will get something to drive and I did not ask him for his kid since he was my age (64)

Default Great Deal !!!!!!

Sounds like a " Great Deal " for the buyer and seller. Cost approx. $1k per year to own such a car, now on to a 2014 SS Conv. I am sure that you have more money than time, enjoy some of it.

just saw a 2002 V6 Camaro with body damage to the front driver fender, rear bumper all across, busted tail light, and large scratches down the whole right side of the car. 140k miles on it...for the low price of $4600

it is an anniversary edition after all

thats funny i know someone who has either a 92 or 91 1le with hardly any miles and was trying to sell it.

he wanted 25k which i think is outrageous but he told me a guy came with cash but tried to short him 2k after he counted it and told him to get lost.

WHAT!!!! You should've DEMANDED! A 40yr old doesn't have to be trained and can still work very well!!!

I've "known" a 40yr old to be pretty hot too, but I didn't keep her...
