Its been a few years since I had mine built so I'm not really up to date on prices. I think you need to scratch up a few more pennies to take the build over the hump. You are going to need a new rear end I would think. The 90/90 combo worked fine on mine.

Procharge it instead. Forged 347.

Build a forged stroked LQ4 and supercharge/turbocharge it (especially if you buy a previously owned kit. You might spend a little but more, but you can get 800+RWHP

I built a 416 last year. With new LS3 block, new cnc ls3 heads, new cam, forged rotating assy I got right around 10k into it. That's with a very slightly used stock ls3 intake, got a few deals on some stuff. After selling my entire top end & other engine parts I really got about 6k into the motor out of pocket.
