Default 80 Camaro

First post but wondering what y’all think. I bought a LQ4, plan on putting in summit ghost cam, running the 317 heads with new springs, bought a ls6 intake, and a 4l80e. Just want a cool daily driver that can burn em pretty nice.

Sounds like a good combo. A good stall converter from someone like Yank or Circle will help with the combo.

Front is a bit low. I may add a 3/4" spacer or bite the bullet and add coil overs.

It was a very nice car to start with. I bought from the original owners son. His dad had passed away a few years prior and his son was not a car guy. It was all original 28K mile car. No hit car. Not one spec of rust. All original paint. Side glass and back glass are original. Interior was like new. That was the up side. The down side was it came with a V6 and three speed on the floor. An LS swap was a no brainer.

Hi Sacloc, Which Summit Ghost cam? What vehicle is this setup going in? I would not use the 317 heads. Find a pair of 706/862 heads and run those. There is a ton of info about this on the internet supported by dyno runs and real world driving to support this. Make sure to use the recommended valve springs with the camshaft you chose. A quality stall converter will be an excellent upgrade as well.
