1875 SOM SS's???
Dayum, glad I bought a Firehawk. According to unofficial numbers (SLP never came through with public, certified numbers) there were only about 100 SOM Hawks made out of the 1505 publicly acknowledged by David Hamburger on Firehawk . org.

For your information: '02 SOM SS cars--total coupes and convertibles, both 6 speed and Automatic = 633. Here's the breakdown: Automatic coupes = 283, 6 Speed coupes = 263, Automatic Convertibles = 46, 6 Speed Convertibles = 41. This is a correct breakdown for the '02 SS total production. The rest of the '02 SOM cars would be regular Z-28's, V6 Camaro's, and 8 SOM B4C special service police units, only 1 of which is a Automatic. This A4, SOM Police Car is one rare unit! WJ

01 SOM vert 31k miles #1833 6 speed. Only 1 of 37 verts with 6 speeds, 1 of 5 with tan top/interior, and only 1 of 2 with all SLP options.

They only built 1 6-speed SOM SS in 2000. Not only that - they only built 3 SS cars in 2000 and 13 cars total! GM was actually testing the color for the 2001 model year. All 13 cars were originally sold to GM executives.
