This is mainly for Vettes and F-body LS1s. This only counts to mods to the car and not the car's cost or insurance. This would include paint jobs, interior work, wheels, tires, and of course performance. And if you are not done spending money on it. click on it too. And don't put down what you plan to spend, just what you spent to date.

Car was roughly $14k four and a half years ago with 32k miles.
Mods have totaled to nearly $8k.

But hey, that's only $22k for the car as it sits and I've had it for four and a half years.


BTW:

I'm sure a mod will move this, probably belongs in the lounge or maybe new enthusiasts.

I spend about 1k on used engine parts and did all the work myself. I am very happy with the results. Clutch is starting to slip though. I want to get a 12bolt and just cant justify the costs. 3.42 gears are fun if you dont mind going up to 145mph. M6 cam only cars really pull from a roll.

There are guys out there that have spent those numbers. I for example spent a total of about $30,000 and I am not finished. I have been through 4 clutches, a T56 Rebuild, valvetrain upgrade, built up 10-bolt, Moser 12-bolt, two sets of DRs, nitrous kit, and so on. That was about $10k. I spent $19k on getting everything ready for a 402 iron block with F1R. I still have stuff to get.

Recently I Just Spent Around 16k On My New Set Up.. 408ci Long Block, Rearend, Headers, Injecters Basically The Only Thing Thats Stock Is The Upper Part Of The Car.. Its Really Easy To Spend This Much When You Want The Best Things
