What?? I think he's talking about the Blue Devil its a well known fact that GM is planning to release a faster Vette than the ZO6. It won't be an LS7, it'll be a FI LS9, what that is exactly is still unsure. More Carbon Fiber etc.

Planning, not proven not trying to be rude but till they green light it I don't buy GM will give us it.

Some reasons I think this are, where in the market does it fall honestly? Prestige, it's still a chevy for price of a M5 or 911 name sells alot, and for people who want to race or be fast the z06 is a monster as is and viper is out as well.

It's 100% for sure NOT going to be an LS7. I believe the LS7 is being discontinued in 08 due to updated CAFE restrictions.

The current Z06 already does that. The fastest stock C6 Z06 time is 11.2. The GT500 has a problem breaking into the low 12's.

the car would prolly be 100K or more, since dealers would mark that bitch up HARD! The GT500 is supposed to be 40,000 and its selling for 65-70. Now picture a limited production vett thats faster than any ferrari or lambo...... I smell expensive.

I was thinking the same thing , I'd still have to mod on it to get it to my liking.

Ya i do think that is ridiculous the way dealers mark up so high there should be a limit. I mean damn if you wanna make it rich i guess grow up to be a Vette order all Z06 and mark each 1 up 20-30k its really BS. I cant believe that those kind of mark ups do not hurt Manufactur sales.

Don't blame the dealers, if people weren't paying these ridiculous prices, there wouldn't such a thing as a "market adjustment."

expensive, and most mid life crisis exec types that can afford 100k + will not know how to hit the skinny peddle on the right.

Actually there is a dealership here in MD that doesn't mark up their Vettes at all. Not even the z06. Heritage Chevrolet on Reisterstown Road. When I was looking at vettes they were the cheapest around and when I asked why... they're not allowed to mark up the Vettes. Owner of the dealership sells them for MSRP.

Dont blame the dealers? Your joking right? I understand what you mean about how demand and the willingness for people to pay out the *** for the C6 Z06 does account for a portion of the high asking prices, but lets be serious when a dealer gets a new Z06 on the lot and slaps a price tag of 90K on it, thats just absurd. It happened at the chevy dealership about 5 miles from my house. They got a Black Z06 new in their showroom and I saw it the day it came in a the price was 92K...thats not the msrp on the car and even with a little price adjustment due to the rarity of the cars it still shouldnt be that high IMO. Its not like the car is at auction and people are bidding on them and driving th eprices sky high, the dealers just know the cars are in demand and jack up the prices accordingly. If people are willing to pay the prices then hey good for the dealers but dont blame the public as say its their fault.
