Default So-so mileage

That doesn't sound like real good mpg but you don't indicate how you drive the car. Just for some perspective for you I get about 20 mpg around town but rarely drive it hard. Mine is A4 too. If you are real aggressive, then maybe that is OK mileage. You should get some good answers and input in the days ahead from everyone.

I usually average around 20mpg with some occasional speeding in my A4. If I baby it I can get a little more out of it.

If you have a lil fun with the car, even regular trips to only 3k will drown your MPG.

Edit: Oh and I forgot I NEVER use A/C and I have 3.23's

When my car was stock i got around 200 to a tank city driving. now with the addition of other mods i usually get around 150- 170 city depending how i drive it. Do you drive with the A/c or defroster on alot that will make a lil difference in the mileage for an a4 i thinks its about normal.

I got over 300 to a tank with 280 of that being city driving and 20 being on the highway. I filled it back up with about an 1/8 of gas left so I don't know how much more I could have gone. So I would say about 315 320

Damn, I thought I was getting poor mpg untill I read this thread. WEIRDEST thing, it happened like a light switch. same fuel, plugs, same mobil 1... for about 7 tanks I got over 440 miles city/highway 50/50 . then it went back to normal 260-300 miles/tank. cant explain it, ive got 98K on the clock, maybe its about time for O2 sensors, i dunno. no codes though??

it varies for so many factors. i personally think 19-24 mpg highway sounds right. i do mostly highway and little city.

i usually fill up after being on quarter tank for too long.. i dont wait to see what the MAX i can get. usually that is around 270 miles a tank. if i went without A/C all the time and actually drove 65 on the highway i'm sure that number would improve.

if you were driving mostly all hardcore city traffic braking/accelerating, 200 doesn't sound too far off to me.

counting in A/C also.
