Pontiac Ok, this is gonna sound like a really stupid question, but what exactly IS the Pontiac logo? I've been a bowtie guy until I just recently bought my 98 T/A. Somebody help me out on this one.

The bow-tie was a patern on a french motel wall that the founder of Chevrolet stayed in and he liked it.
The Pontiac arrow head is just that, taken from their being named for the Pontiac Indian tribe. Hence the old pontiac symbol of an indian head.
