i hear my rockers and/or lifters at low speeds with the windows up. i think thats normal.

need new engine sounds like you breally fu**ed up your motor buy a new one and ill come haul away your old one.lol! did you here the rev limiter during this misdown shift.unless you hit about 7k i dont see it harming anything.when you downshifted the excesive backpressure on the exhaust system probably caused a leak somewere.if you had a bent pushrod the engine would run like ****.
