Default How many of you still wash and wax on a reg. basis?

When I first got my car, I was washing and waxing it once a month. Now you'll be lucky to see me out there vacuuming it out. Am I just lazy or are you guys still washing and waxing all the time?

No I'm the same way Id rather be driving it for the three hours that it takes to wash wax detail the interior. Now I have it done professionally at the beginning of the summer and keep up with it.

I remember the first time i did a complete detail with claybar and 2 step Menzerna. It looked damn good after 18 hours. It took 1 day for it to be reduced to waterspots. I said never again, unless I had a garage to put it in. On top of that, I lost the pictures I had taken of it.

Im just so **** about my paint after that long detail, that I think I'm micro marring by washing it more. And that just leaving it dirty is better? But then I think damn, the wind is probably blowing all the dirt around on my paint scratching it up more.

i'm weather dependent as well. In the summer I was washing it every Saturday or Sunday. I got my lazy *** outside and washed mine yesterday. Didn't get above 60 but I got it done. It was DIRTY!!!!

I don't worry about if it's going to rain during the week. At least it will look good for a couple of days.

I wash and wax all my cars regularly, also cleaning the interior. But since the Camaro sits in the garage 90% of the time, it stays pretty clean anyway. Even my daily drivers get waxed at least once a month. The paint on my 10 year old Bonneville looks better than a lot of 2-3 year old cars that I see.

I wash my cars when dirty, at least the ones in the garage. The SUV's are no fun, but the TA is easy to clean. It gets the full treatment with McGuire's once a month. Last September, I spent a weekend wet sanding and buffing it. It took care of some minor scratches and orange peel in the paint. Also some of the smaller ripples in the doors and the two rows of dimples in the roof between the T-tops and rear hatch. It came out like a show car! My wife just rolls her eyes and reminds me of how **** I am... She's probably right.

Oh! And the engine is as clean and bright as the outside!

I wash my car every week and i basically wipe the dust off every other day......so my car is always clean. As a matter of fact i just washed and waxed it 2 days ago and i'm going to wipe it off in a little while before i hit the streets. I also clean my wheels and shine the tires in between each car wash. I guess you can say im **** and love to clean my car

The other day I took the car out of the garage, washed it, and drove it back in. There was dust on it. I hate that.

I wash my car about every week and wax it at least once a month if not more, but I have to because it is black and old paint and starts to oxidize as soon as it dries from a wash! The interior is a different story and only gets a cleaning once in a lllllooong while.

I probably wash mine once a month, when not in storage. Since I to avoid rain, do not daily drive it, keep it in a garage, and it is white, this is frequent enough. So far, I have only Zaino’d it once a year.
