HPTV is for the novice car guy, anyone who knows their **** will see alot of little mistakes and dumb moves.
I loved the one where the put an N20 kit on a stang, they used a 75 shot and gained like 70rwhp (no problem there), then they steped up to a 150 shot and gained like 78rwhp... Somebody needs a tuning leason.

that show is ok. its a 98 camaro SS. they call it "project lsGun". they did a lot of work on that car. rebuild motor, new trans, new rear end, air ride suspension. i think before they put the procharger on it they said it ran low 11's with a 125 shot and MT streets.
the show is ok. but they skip so much on there its rediculous. how could you show the right steps of a 4-6 hour procharger install in a 30 minutes show with tons of f-ing commercials. they get product sponsership so they always use certain companies(every car on that show gets a flow-bastard exhaust). and they love those small hand held tunners.
not a bad show, but by no means the holy grail for cars.

not really impressed by that, they had a built low compression motor(with different heads and a cam), and could only pull out 550 or so hp. That is retarded compared to what guys with built motors are doing. If it was stock block, it would be different. They got the same power out of a tt sts ls2 vette.

they tried saying you need a hotter spark for nitrous today. i was like WHAT?
but the procharger was sweet. so much is going on with that car in just a 15 min clip. added 1 degree of timing and went from 491rwhp to 541 rwhp.

i got to see a little bit of it today, i agree - it is cool seeing LSX stuff on TV just because i can relate to it, the Z they were usin looked pretty nice too, but yes there was a ton of stuff cut out. what do you expect when u do a huge install and chop it down to about 25 min (with commercials) worth of highlights

Uh, ok. Never mind the fact that they hadn't touched the stock tq arm, control arms and hadn't run anything stickier than a bfg drag radial. Apparently we need to back-half the car to get it to hook now. I'm sure there's a few folks on here that lift the front tires a couple feet off the ground on stock style suspension that would respectfully disagree.

i think they mean with their shitty *** driving that they wouldn't be able to do much with it. They'd probably end up running 12s.
