Question about picking up an LS1 from a roll over...
I'm looking at an LS1 from a Cadillac CTS-V (ls6) with a 6 speed transmission. The car has been involved in a major accident, so much that the driver perished. With that aside, I'm concerned there could be possible damage to the engine. Although the original strut bar doesn't look like it's been bent, the radiator support has been hit resulting in damage to the radiator and intake from what I can see. One major factor I'm worried about is that the intake manifold has quite a bit of oil coming out. I would understand a bit of oil would seep out as the car was left upside down after the collision, but is there someway I can check to make sure everything is ok? Thanks for the help!
The red line shows how far up the damage went from the front end collision.

Awkward...
But then again, people recieve things all the time in wills. Think of this as an impersonal will. Then again, I wouldnt buy the motor for mechanical reasons. I would NEVER buy the car. That WOULD be awkward.
