my mom use to own the judge gto back in the day and he loves my car very much, and is actually undertands why i am so **** about it. On the other hand my dad can't stand my car b/c i take really great care of her and he don't understand why i put all my time and effort into a "CAR" but then again he is not a car guy at all so it's all good! My grandparents love it and my grandpa especially he likes hot rods and he is 86!

My dad hated the fact that I took out a loan for my camaro but I gave him a ride on a warm summer evening with the tops out and radio going. I got her sideways getting onto a 4 lane state road and took her to the top of second gear when my dad grabbed my arm and told me to back off a little. After we got home my dad asked me if he could drive it one day. My dad has always bought so so cars. Vega, Celica GT, Blazer.
My sister loves my Camaro and Jeep.
My mom. She has always loved fast cars and wanted a sports car but she is the definition of a soccer mom. Olds Delta 88 Royale edition, Astro Minivan, and Trailblazer LS.
If my mom and stepdad were not getting a divorce then he would love my car. He has had a 66 mustang, 69 charger, and now an owner of a 70 440 roadrunner. He has always been into muscle cars but he is a dick and I don't really like him.
What I am most greatful is that my dad respects my hobby of working on cars and making them fun to drive.

Back on topic, my parents hate my v6, with a passion. Mom loves my convertible and Dad thinks my suspension is horrible. He knows I'm putting air ride on it once I come up with the spare grand for the front airstruts. So I'm earning their approval, be real nice if I can sell the v6 to some parents for their kid. It looks good and runs well, but sure as hell can't go fast enough to kill yourself with.

My dad likes my car. He is wanting to sell his bike to get a 25th T/A like the one I had. However, he seems to get pissed off whenever I talk about modding it. I am doing a cam swap this summer and he wants to help.

My parents are very supportive of my car, only thing they dont like is if I have a problem or when my Dad drives it, he complains about the cam and clutch. But apart from that they like it. He says how a great car it is to drive as long as its not bumper to bumper rush hour traffic. Also my Mum does not drive it, she refuses to because of what my Dad says.......?

I am a parent. The TA is mine. My 16 year old was hanging with the wrong crowd and I needed to straighten his *** before he slipped into the ricer void. I had to do the responsible thing and get some American muscle for us to work on before he ran out for a Hon-Duh. After a few spirited runs through the gears, I knew I had him hooked. I taught him how to shift while he still had his learner's permit. Had him launching at the strip the same month he got his liscense. He still talks about ricers- and the stupid stuff they do and say.
You guys might think I'm crazy for letting a 16 year old drive an LS1, but this kid has self control. He does not speed. Not 1 MPH over the limit. He knows my rules about losing LS1 driving privleges forever if he gets a ticket. I know he chirps first and scratches 2nd gear occasionally, I'm not stupid. But he does not speed. I keep a GPS recorder hidden in the car to verify his driving habits. My wife gets pissed when she sees what the GPS recorded when I was driving. She can't complain too much, she likes riding in it with the tops off.
Oh, my parents? They live in Florida and they have never seen the car. But they did help me when I was a teenager with my brand new '78 TA. My mom liked driving it better than her Cordoba. So did I.

my parents love my car, except for when it breaks and i have nothing else to drive but one there cars or my g/fs car, and when i get tickets. Other than that they love to ride in it and ill let em take it out every now and then. My dad really likes it and loves to take it out, hes always driven hot rods and fast cars.

Considering that I bought my '01 SS from my dad I think he likes it! He really likes it since I dropped the 408 in it and dont have the luxury of driving it for another month. He has been breaking in the new clutch for me on pretty days. He and my mom took it out for an hour last weekend just to put some miles on the clutch. He told me that my exhaust is a little louder than he likes especially since I took off the cats and replaced with straight pipe. I like the Corsa sound with the stroker! The only reason he sold it to me is so he can finish his '70 chevelle 454. It has a 12 point cage in it and should shake the ground. Mom loves riding in them but refuses to drive them, she said she is scared.

My mom used to hate my 3rd Gen (89 RS), it was loud as hell and had no anti lock breaks or airbags. She was soo relieved when I got my 4th gen. Hehehe if she only knew that I never even got close to the speeds I do now when I had the 3rd Gen
