Default Trade the GTO for a 02 z28

I have a auto 2004 GTO and I really miss having a 6spd. I used to have a 98 z28 w/ 6spd and miss it alot. I have found a '02 black 6spd z28 that is completely stock w/ 43000 miles. I am just torn b/c I hate the auto but love the interior, whereas I will love having a 6spd but the camaro interior is dated. The price on the z28 is 15k. I am not going to pay more than 13-14 for it though if the deal goes through. Just wanted to know what you all think.
Thanks

Yeah, I couldn't live w/out the 6 speed. I say go for the lighter, cheaper Camaro w the T56, or step up 2 a LS2 S-speed GTO...

i have thought about as well. I have read up alot on the stalls but still a little confused. What would be a decent converter that still has good street manners? So far on the goat I have lpe gt2-3 cam, slp pulley, jba shorties, home ported tb, and magnaflow catback w/ xpipe. Is a stall something I can do in my garage or would I need to have a mechanic do it. I take pride in doing my own work but don't want to get in over my head.
Thanks

I may be a hater but I had a 3500 stall in my TA and I'm going back to stock. I think a stall is nice but no doubt id trade that 04 LS1 and get a LS2 6-speed GTO. BTW I wouldn't pay more than 12k for any F-Body any year

Go with the 6 spped Camaro, better looks, more respect, and in many cases faster

More respect? Puleez. I know there are lots of fast f-body's, but everytime I get in my GTO, I am quite glad I no longer have the rattle trap, squeek box that was my Z28.

If you want the car for drag racing only, buy the Camaro. If you want a modern day NICE driver, the GTO wins my vote hands down.
