The reason I'm considering a vette is simple, GM BUILT THEM TOO DAMN SMALL, (I'm not yelling at you guys, I'm yelling at GM, lol) I can't fit in them. Maybe if I took it to a ssop, I could get it customized, but for now, that'd be way too much money. And I haven't have the SS for very long, sence last september. But as it sits now, tax return is coming, so my best bet is getting a cam.

Definately keep the SS. New Cobra's are awesome cars but they don't look very unique and they are expensive as hell to mod.

Plus once you get your cam on there you'll be glad you kept it when you are spanking Cobras. Then throw on a 150 shot and you'll be out of there league altogether.

if you can afford a higher car payment, then you can afford a credit card bill keep your car and get a credit card if you have the need for speed. sts kits or s/c kits are like 4k, stall for 600, new rear tires (cuz you're gonna need them...)300, so for roughly 5-6k you can be raping pullied cobra's, and be paying it out monthly on your credit card bill.

oh trust me, I want to get a credit card. not just for this, but to build more credit. But, even though I'm not paying any rent, every card I apply to declines me due to owing too much on current loans.

and for my opinion on your subject jewbacca ( i know you have decided to keep your SS and cam it) But FWIW here around my area in TN , i have seen quite a few low mileage 02-04 Z06's sell for the same or less amount than some, if not most 03-04 cobra's . And another thing that I have seen (maybe not everyone else has ,so dont get bent out of shape and go apeshit on me) But the cobra's usally get driven hard and beaten on pretty badly. A buddy of mine bought a BEAUTIFUL , FLAWLESS 03 vert (the burgandyish red metal flake color) with 4k miles on the clock for a little over $28K. He has pretty much **** wrecked that car. Not saying the Vettes dont get ragged on either. But at the end of the day i would drop the money on the Vette before the Cobra. My personal opinion.

Nope... I can't, I've tried. I'm 6'6", and the problem isn't head room, it's under the dash. I sat in one for about a half hour trying to figure out a way to fit, but nothing worked. Guess I'll just have to stick with the SS for now and cam it. But yeah, I wish I could fit in a vette, then there'd be no contest between that and a cobra. VETTE FTW!!!

What do you expect from LS1 Tech with this? I can't believe they lock my srt4 thread but not this, I say go for the Cobra. Cars are like women, get as many of the most newest fastest ones you can.

It's probably just a difference in your driving styles. Maybe he likes to sprawl out and sit way back to be comfortable.

Trust me. I can't fit, lol. No matter how I sit, my knees hit the underside of the dash. I've tried everything, but nothing works. I can't lean the seat that far back like my SS. I really wish I could, but it ain't happening. And I do know that I can fit in a Corbra, because my mom has a V6 stang. But I am still sticking with keeping my SS.

Good choice! Just like the Cobra, you can invest in some mods when you have more cash and whip on vettes. No reason to have a shitty monthly payment, especially since you almost own the SS.

I went from a paid off 99 SS head/cam bolt on car to an 03 Cobra and let me tell ya, I couldnt be MORE impressed with the Cobra. I say Cobra and I say that with zero brand loyalty.

My Cobra vid for ya.
