Default Exhaust Q

will two ls1's with the same exhaust sound the same if one is a M6 and the other an A4???

No, the A4 runs the engine completly different then the M6 but at the same rev in N it will.

so because the amount of gears are different it sounds diff>?
how so is one deeper then the other is one more raspy?

lol what the hell..

The motors will sound the exact same granted they are at the same rpm's.

if a train traveling to houston hits a cattle on the tracks...

and one goin to Dallas hits a cat...who arrives first?

Exactly...

Now some people get the ILLUSION that M6 cars sound different than A4s because with an M6 you tend to be hitting rpm levels while driving around that you probably wouldn't normally be hitting with an A4 because people might hang on to a certain gear a little longer than normal or down shifting...etc..

That might give you the EFFECT like if there is a different sound but,it all comes back to what rpm your running at the moment.

I had an arguement with someone about it.I figured it would sound the same but i didnt know for sure figured i'd get your input.
