Now some people get the ILLUSION that M6 cars sound different than A4s because with an M6 you tend to be hitting rpm levels while driving around that you probably wouldn't normally be hitting with an A4 because people might hang on to a certain gear a little longer than normal or down shifting...etc..
That might give you the EFFECT like if there is a different sound but,it all comes back to what rpm your running at the moment.
