I heard electric cutouts sometimes have leaks in them. I say man up and crawl under there with a manual cut out and save some $$$ and get the control arms! or maybe a lid.

I would do either lower control arms, sub frame connectors, or save for a cat back/long tube headers.

Where im at (here in lovely IA) it is 2.95 and just went to 2.98ish a gallon for 87 and 10 cents more for prem. (91)

well i was just making observations.cuz i know its close to 3.50 somewhere in the u.s. but in nj it ranges from 2.90 to 3.07. thats as of tuesday may 1st...
