So i was with a friend of mine the other day with a srt8 charger and he said he would give me 20K for my 99 ws6 since its only got 14K miles on it an he wants a car that he can build into a Serious street strip monster and the srt8 would jsut cost way to much. Now since i payed 17K for it last july Im extremely tempted to take his offer. Plus I've been looking around and I can get a terminator cobra for less then 25K with average miles and even some mods....and I always told myself the only car I would ever sell my T/A for was a cobra! So what do you all think I should do.....any opinion is welcome shoud i keep the T/A and Mod it myself(not anywhere near what he's planning) or should I take the 20K make 3 grand off it and try and get myself a terminator??

You want a TA or a Cobra??? Once you answer that you will know what to do.....You could sell it for that, get another TA (cheaper) and mod the hell of it with the extra money....

Well this was the situation I was in about a year ago. I went ahead and bought my current car, an 03 cobra vert. With around 1600 in mods im 467rwhp/501tq.
It really comes down to what you like, my dad has an electron blue 2002 z06 in the garage bay next to me, and each car has their ups and downs.
Motor for Motor, the Cobra motor setup and fuel system is superior to the vette . However, in my mind anyway, thats where it ends for the terminator.
The trannys are more or less the same, they both have their unique quirks as far as shifter setup.
The vette's handling, braking, and rear end are far better than the abortion of an IRS that is in the cobra. Oh and don't forget these terminators weigh as much as your average sedan, which can get annoying when trying to run the times. I think there are more 500rwhp cobras in the 12s than any other car out there.
But if you want to talk about bang for your buck, it's is alot less expensive to make power in a terminator than in a vette, and the torque in the cobras is monsterous, despite what some people may think about FI vehicles, the top mount blowers on the cobras are instant, full boost, their torque curves are actually superior to even N/A cars. (The stock blower begins to fall off up top, but a whipple or kenne belle swap will fix that)
The nice thing about a terminator is, to make more power you just switch the power adder, Cams yield very little gain (which is good because they cost a mint and are about 12-14 hours labor to install), the heads already flow more than the motor can hope to push out. So basically you just switch the power adders and keep adding fuel system components and you are GTG for a 700rwhp car that idles like it was stock. No steep cams or crazy rear end gears needed.
So in the end its up to you, but I'll put it this way, I've had the terminator for a year now, and I love it, but I always flirt with the idea of switching to the LS6 Z, if the opportunity came my way.

I'd sell and look for a nicely modded LS1, because there are plenty that show up on here, albiet more miles than what yours has. Or sell it and go after your cobra. Either way I'd say sell it and make yourself some money and put it into the car you really want.

I'd get neither...
w/ that $20K you could buy a real nice 1998 Mitsubishi Galant....Maybe but some decent hub caps on it...
Then w/ the money you saved you could buy a real nice land out in the middle of the forrest w/ no power or running water..
So then you won't have a computer and we don't have to read posts like this anymore!!!

I would sell it, buy a descent ls1 for like 8 grand, a four wheeler, a waverunner, and anything else that is fun to ride and go fast on....three for 1 sounds good to me. IMHO
