Default I shed a tear today...

On my way back to work from lunch, I watched a beautiful 35th Anniversary SS roll into an automated car wash.

You should have done the right thing. Pulled the owner out, beat their ***, and saved the car.

WOW. Like I said, if it was a Ferrari, go right ahead. The F-Body can handle it. Hey, if worst comes to worst, you get to repaint the damn thing. Then you won't have people complaining about all the orange peel in the factory GM paint jobs.

What kind of car wash? The kind with the brushes? Or the 'touchless' kind with the chemicals and high pressure wash?

Lol. Who really cares. It's a $17,000 car on a good day. When you leave la-la land, maybe you will actually open your eyes and realize that camaros/trans ams/corvettes aren't going to be worth much. Please hurry though, I may not be around in 20 years when you finally figure it out.

By the way, I respect F-Bodies. It's just losers like you that think they're god, and put lines like "LS1, the engine touched by God" in your sigs. Get over yourself.

I know tons of people around here with legit cars, one is a 10sec camaro. They're great rides, but they aren't rare. Stop acting like they are.

There are some rare and valuable 4th gen F-bodies that will be worth decent money in 20 years if kept nice. 30th Ann WS6 cars come to mind. They still command a premium price even now at 8 years old.

Even more collectible/valuable will be the '97 LT4 cars (Camaro SS and Firehawk). Very, very few were built with the LT4, and a mint low mileage example will be worth a large sum of money in 20 years. Hell, they already are.

If that's true why do you concern yourself and waste your time on other people's opinions? Sounds like you need to get over yourself.

To some people, these are the nicest cars that we can afford at the time(college students like myself). For others, they are the nicest cars they will ever be able to afford in their lives. Why don't you go get in the Ferrari 599 GTB that I'm sure you own and drive into a tree.

Have some ******* respect.

I agree with the LT4 comment, in both vettes/fbodies. Some others maybe 1LE Camaros, some Firehawks, and Formula WS6(and 1LE version). Other than that though, I really don't see many being worth too terribly much. I mean, they're nice cars, but man, don't think they're $100k cars.

If I had one, I may. But I could only afford the F355 GTS Targa for now. Gah, I suck...

You forgot one other group.

Some of us can afford much more expensive cars if we wanted to, but beleive it or not, we actually like F-bodies.

Oh the horror! How could someone actually like such a peice of junk like an F-body!

I just took my wife's car through an auto car wash tonight (touchless). It's just a Bonneville. But should I ban myself anyway?
