Default 6 pack + Instigating gear head friends =

Broke in the new ride and finished off a pair of tires in the process.

So he might have not been in good enough condition to walk a straight line, but I'll be damned if those aren't some of the straightest burnout marks I've seen in a while.

And BTW he was at least wearing his seatbelt lol.

I for one am not impresed with brake stands. Thats not a burnout on the streets, thats just a brake stand and it doesnt mean a whole lot. Light up the tires and spin them that far and straight without using the brake and you've got something to be proud of. Those marks could have been left by 76 nova with a 305 in it. Doesnt take much to do a brake stand.

I'm not saying that I havent done burnouts to see how long I can make them, I'm saying brake stands arent impressive to me. I've got a line lock and could do strips for miles but what does it prove? Not a thing as far as power and the car goes.

Marks on a road used to be the signature of a muscle car. Brake stands are cheating and are not indicative of the power of the car.

Even better would be a rollback. Nothing like a nice set of J strips where the small part of the J is 10-20 feet long and the long part is about 75-100 before you shift then you have like a 1 foot brake in the rubber and then you see 2nd gear rubber, and if you've got a super bad *** car you see another brake in the marks and then 3rd gear rubber. Thats impressive **** to me.

I've done more stupid **** in a car than you have an imagination to even think of junior. Frat party?!?! You have no idea kid, we were the party and we ruled the frats, our house was THE house. (frats are for homo's and I would never join one, they knew who we were and we had a free pass) just because I think brake stands are for kids and cars without power doesnt mean I'm a nerd

You have no clue, my guess is your little punk *** would be screaming like a 6 yr old girl on some of my adventures. Used to be you could lose it on a corner hit a boulder in someones front yard and keep driving without ripping your suspension out. Cant do that **** in these cars. I rocked a 72 Chevelle and 71 Challenger r/t like you've only seen in the movies. I take burning rubber seriously. Marks on the asphalt are like gang signs on a wall to me.

Maybe if I was there and had a few beers in me I would have been into it and laughing. I'm sure there was so much smoke someone called the FD to report a fire, but online looking at it I wasnt impressed. Oh well, isnt the first time I've had a difference of opinion and wpnt be the last

I hear what youre saying, any rwd car can do a brake stand. But half of those cars wont even spin tires when you punch it from a stop. It is much more impressive to just punch it and leave that much rubber.

But when youre showing off you do a brake stand, not a burnout. Most people cant do a inspiring burnout the way they could do a brake stand
