I went to pinks this weekend in bristol and noticed quite a few LT1 and LS1 cars. Two made it into the final 16 and I was wondering if anyone here went?

i went did u see all the fords in the final 16 lol, the ls1 z28 3 1 hundrenths of a sec man that sucked he almost made it lol.

haha yeah ALL THOSE FORDS!!! LMAO! yeah the black z28 was a pretty car. I thought he had him beat too. I think the blue z woulda done pretty well if he had and traction lol hard to keep that 6 speed from spinnin though.

i just wished a gm product would have one, but anyway it was fun, just wished i could have had my goat out there i dont care if i had ran a 15 i would have burnt my tires alot better than the others out there lol

Me, my dad and bro ran in it. My bro got to the finals in the blue/silver monza. just search for "pinks" and find the bristol thread it has pics/vid.

hey did u see that pos green mustang, lol and the lighting that blew up, and the convertable that blew up. i think the only things ford were good for that day was a laugh or 2 lol

nice job blackbird. did you have the black t/a that was runnin in the 9s?

and to the last poster if your talkin about the last qualifying race then only the mustang ran because one lane was shut down due to oildown... and if your calling a monza a mustang then it was neither a nova or a chevelle that raced him in the last race.

next time i go to a pinks event i will be driving my car. i must have seen at least 10 cobras leaving the track... plus all the other misc. cars that couldve whipped me good lol

Must be talking about a diffrent race. Monday night on speed had a pinks all out race between a red mustang and a black nova. The red mustang won by a fender and gave 2 grand to the driver to help out with some funeral bills.

In October they're going to do one on 4 door cars.

Guys from Pittsburgh came down and bought our buddies 80something Impala tube chassis car that is set up like a cop car, it's sweet I can't wait to see it.

ahh man you missed out big time. im used to going to all the outlaw races around here so i figured it wouldnt be all that fun to watch but it was actually really good. there were a few ez street cars there runnin on motor lol
