We are seriously considering trading in the Corvette (A4) for..
..a 2006 Inferno Red Jeep Cherokee SRT-8 - 420HP 6.1L Hemi - AWD
You guys definitely need to check out this SRT8 video:
SRT8 Jeep - Full Exhaust *VIDEO*
I would still have the firehawk (6-speed)...
I originally posted this in another area, but didn't get much constructive feedback..
What do you guys think?

I just think they are so bland looking, the hemi+AWD is great and will give you some decent power in an SUV....
it's probably a little more practical as well... with the extra seats and space, but....
a vette for a cherokee??
then again i don't even like the new chargers, i think it's stupid that they are 4doors. there was never a charger 4door wtf....
anyways. i wouldnt do it. i'd keep the vette and get an older SUV for whatever you need it for. it's up to you, they are your cars!!

Wait a minute here.. let me start by saying.. Why would you trade your car in? If you want to get rid of it, sell it on ebay or locally. Your going to get ripped off on a trade in. Your corsa exhaust is worth nothing to them as well as any other aftermarket part (if any) on your car.
I think that the Jeep SRT8s look nice, but why would you sell your vette for that? Its basically a sport truck and is more of a show car than a everyday driver. Those 420 horses under the hood would probibly be nice during the winter, but that is one of the few jeeps that is not meant for abuse, but for show. Although it could probibly take it though.
Will it be your daily driver or a "show truck"?
my advice to you is.. Keep the Vette!
As a kid, I was always told by my father.. "Man, I wish I saved some of the cars I had when I was young!" And your vette is going to be one of those cars that you are going to be wishing you saved.

I think you should do what you want. I have an 06 Hemi Ram and have had no problems with it. Dodge has improved drastically in the last few years. It's all a matter of what you want and need.

I definitely like the srt-8 models. I test drove a charger srt-8 and was very impressed. The AWD in the jeep should be a fun ride.
Corvette and Cherokee SRT-8 are two totally different rides, but you can have a great all around ride with the jeep, go more places pack all the stuff or people you want and still blast down the road, but will take the gas for sure.
Go for it if you want- I doubt you'll kick yourself for it.

Me personally im not a big fan of the srt-8 jeeps, overpriced for what they are. If i was in the market for a fast suv, id get a trailblazer ss, blue of course to match my other cars. But i would actually get a yukon or something cause of my height if it was a DD. But its your money whatever floats your boat.

I agree. You have the T/A, so you have your basis covered there. With a Jeep, you can take your friends along with you.

I honestly say do it, you have the Firehawk still and you'd be getting a badass SUV to compliment it. I have my camaro and an '02 V8 Grand Cherokee Limited for a DD and I love the combination of the two. And Jeeps aren't "just a Dodge"...they have most of their own parts.
