Default Estimated 1/4 mile times

I have a hard time figuring out what a "quick" stock LS1 should run in the 1/4. The only drag strip near me is an 1/8th. The closest 1/4 is about 100 miles away. Anyways, my t/a runs an 8.6 in the 1/8 (dont know trap time or 60'). I was wondering if you guys could estimate my e.t.'s in the 1/4.
BTW it's a 99 t/a, 100K miles, 3.42's, A4.

you really need to post up a 60ft and mph those stats go hand in hand with other variables but "usually" a 8.6 will translate into a 13.3@101-104 just depending? and did the previous owner install the 3.42's? the don't come that way from the factory? but an 8.6 in a A4 is fast for a stock converter LS1 but you will be alot faster from a 60 roll!

so an 8.6 is quick? I have a buddy with a lt1 formula with A4 and hooker exhaust with 222K miles, thats runs an 8.42 1/8th. LOL, i know thats fast, especially for the car. Also another one of my buddies with a 02 z28 w/16k miles runs 8.30's all day long, and its still got factory everything.
so i was thinking mine wasnt very quick. thanks guys

but dont yall think a lt1 formula with A4 and hooker exhaust with 222K miles, that runs an 8.42 1/8th is pretty damn fast? as well as an 02 z28 w/16k miles runs 8.30's.
yall should have seen all of the "dropped jaws" the first time he ran his z28, everyone was shocked.

thats seems quick, but not to be a jerk but that is not a true race. a 1/8 mile race is more like a traction war. think about what sti's and evos are getting in that then see what they run in the 1/4 mi. you won't ever be able to judge if your car is fast or not unless you race a 1/4 mile

i know that, thats why i said in the first post "have hard time judging quick car". but my car doesnt spin anyway, i got 18x10.5's and not enough power lol

well i got the following:

bbk single stage induction intake manifold
ported maf
slp ram air
lid
spec stage 3 clutch
built t56 transmission
steel driveshaft
hooker long tube headers
slp short throw shifter
4.10 gears(bad ***)
egr delete
150 texas wet shot(did not have at time)
decent tune

well my car seemed to be making big numbers at the time because before i got the 150 shot of nitrous i was beating heads and cammed cars. i actually beat a fully built 12:1 382 stroker with a big cam with ported and polished heads, headers, moser 12 bolt, 3.73 richmond gears. my car is one of those factory freaks as you might call them lol
seems to run really good for my mods.

The LS series motors pull HARD up top, which makes it almost a waste of time to run 1/8 mile tracks. My boy has a 00 Z28 A4 and he ran a 13.3 bone stock quarter mile. Not sure of his MPH or 1/8 mile time though. My Cobalt SS/SC runs a HORRIBLE 1/8 and 60' cause of it's wrong wheel drive(FWD) but she shines up top. With a couple bolt-ons, we have run 13.5's at 107mph
