Default sad day :(

sitting at a red light top down, minding my own business enjoying the early dusk drive home from NJ shore, look up in my rear view to see this dodge barreling down on me, no time to react, only brace and pray i dont die...

BEFORE

AFTER

to add insult to injury the car that did this was parked accross from mine at the garage....

That's f-ed up. Sorry to see that, similar thing happened to me the day my WS6 rolled 4000 miles, but my damage (~$6500) isn't nearly as bad as yours, it looks like your car may get totaled. Glad you lived to tell about it. Good luck on the insurance settlement.

That was a very nice car and you are sort of local too. My 90 formula was rear ended by a jeep cherokee at 40 and it destroyed alot more than the rear and like you I was only hanging at the red light but I didnt see them coming. I had everything redone and then it went all away thats how I got this current car. Just be glad you are alright and look forward to the next car and the chance at personalizing the next one. Do you plan on another ls1 or something else? Whatever it is don't let the insurance company screw you over. I was fighting for a month for a measly 1400 after showing them 15k in receipts

Sorry to hear it man, but at least you are O.K. It was a beautiful car, but I am sure that you will bounce back with another hot ride.

How can you NOT see a car in front of you.

I totaled my car that way (into a blazer, He had practically NO damage) when I was 18, NEVER again.

Sorry about your car, at least you're ok.

I feel your (car) pain too. Last year my wife was hit @ 70 mph by a correctional officer who ran a red light talking on his cell phone coming home from work.....Oh yeah, he had no insurance either. Believe it or not she walked away from it, just bruises and some anxiety for awhile (which was still extremely difficult for her)

I say car pain because I wasnt in the acccident, but the car was replaced- which my wife never could be if I had lost her.

Sorry for the scanned pics (if they come up), I only had film pics from the junk yard.
