Anyone else wish they didnt sell their car?
I just sold my Charger(Look in sig) 2 weeks ago and as I watched the guy drive away with it, I was like "What did I just do!"
Just wondering if anyone else has been in that situation?

i had an old ford truck that i put alot of hard work into, and about 10g's, i ended up selling it to pay an extremely overdue outstanding balance from college. they were sending me letters informing me they were going to take legal action.
i miss that truck every day. it was my first vehicle ever, and it was bad ***. sometimes you gotta do things you dont want to. all in all, yes i miss it but i had to sell it, it was the only avenue i had to get out from underneath some really bad debt.

I definitely felt that way when I sold my RX-8. I loved that car, and I almost felt sick when I sold it. But as soon as I got in my F-body, I knew I made the right choice.
I guess either time or getting a new project are the only ways to cure seller's remorse.

YEP, I felt that way with my 96 Impala. Built that car from one end to the other. Felt sick as it drove away. But I am much better now that i got my Formula.
So cheer up, Things are bound to get worse. J/K

Oh I feel ya for sure!!! I had a 71 RS that I'd been working on little by little for several years that I sold for some extra cash to cover closing costs of a new house. It had been in storage & I hadn't been able to touch it for a couple years, so I didn't think I'd miss it that much. Boy was I wrong! And the really crappy thing is the seller of the house backed out at the last minute & I'm still living in an apartment 2 years later, so it was completely pointless for me to sell it in the first place! And my wife told me not to sell it! But I didn't listen, and she won't let me forget that either!
I also miss my 01 SS. Although I didn't have the same bond with that car since it was modded when I got it & I didn't put my own blood, sweat & tears into it, I still really miss that car too! It was pretty much perfect. Had to get rid of it though so I could get a more family oriented car since we have a little one now. SUre was a nice ride though!

My very first truck was a 1960 Step Side Chevy C-10. I worked a 100 hours for five dollers an hour, for this lady, and she gave me the truck. I was only 13. Worked on it all through my teen years. The amount of money I put into it, could have bought me a new vehicle. Joined the navy bought a new vehicle, had the 60 parked in the garage at my parents house. Started to party to much and started going into dept, dad sold it with out me knowing it. To pay off bills. I did not know until a 1 in a half later. My dad actually cried when I got home, while he was telling me. That was the only time I seen him cry, But it was my own fault, I was not mad at my dad. I was brought up to pay for my own mistakes. And thats what happened.

I have never sold a car but I have bought a bunch. Car purchases to me are for life. The only way I have lost a car is from cannabilization/junk yard.
I get too attached. I even have one of my first cars, a Pontiac 6000 coupe that I couldn't bring myself to get rid of.

i have a 71 camaro that i bought when i just turned 17. drove it to high school. im now 20. i dont think i could ever sell that car
now the cars i sold. my old 1995 z28 M6. i have soooo many memories with that car. one day i thought i didnt want it anymore so i put it for sale. about 2 days later it was gone. i really missed it. 6 months of missing it goes by and i bought a 1997 z28 tripple black convertable A4. had alot of fun with it but it wasnt a M6. sold that car, missed it then bought the 2002 z28.
bottom line is you will miss it and get another one

The only car I've ever sold was a 1990 toyota corolla. It was nice in comparison to most other corollas though because my dad painted it and everything. We sold it to fund an ongoing project on my truck (rebuild trans, suspension and stuff) and I was glad to see it go. This was last year, a couple of weeks before starting my senior year of high school. We started to fix the truck and get everything worked out, but I needed something to drive to school, so I figured what the hell and cruised in my mint thirdgen (also painted really nice by my dad). Got a freakin' door ding not even 3 days into the year (Did the !side moldings for looks) So, yes selling a car (no matter how much you hate it ) is always a mistake. Never again!

I miss my old 98 Mustang GT, sure it was slow but it was a paid off, beautiful Atlantic Blue, had some nice basic mod's and was good to me for 4 years. Again it was paid off which I loved.
My car now is newer, nicer, and a lot faster but I would give back to get my old paid off baby again.

Yeah my charger was my first car. I got it when I was 16 and now im 17. I had it for 11 months but it had sentimental value i didnt know it had until after i sold it. I put ALOT of time and money in to it. It was the only reason i have a job. And then theres the fact that its just about 1 of a kind.
