The WS6 is slightly torquier than the SS, and I believe is .2 seconds faster with automatics. It really depends on the better driver with manuals. I wouldn't be surprised if the driver's weight made a difference (considering there a 50lb difference or so)

basically the same motor 98's heads were different then the 00's and didnt flow quite as well
same trans
same rear end gears
the T/A is slightly heavier
The T/A is also a lil more streamlined though
the T/A ram air works a lil better thewn the SS

but i like the SS better
the T/A's in my opinion have too fat off an ***
even tho i like their front ends better then the camaros

more things will decifer which is quicker then just the car i.e. like the driver mostly
and even both stock vehicals can make different hp n tq ratings even from the factory

Cocamaro?! Geez NooB it's CAcamaro

And like the guys were saying, same freaking car different body panels. That's all there is to it. Nothing more. Same engine, trans, rearend, suspension. Same car.

98' bigger cam, smaller injectors, crappier heads.

99+ smaller cam, bigger injectors, better heads.

01-02 LS6 intake, better rod bolts, smaller cam, bigger injectors, ls6 heads, some ls6 blocks, !EGR, ls6 clutch, better flowing exhaust manifolds.

Negative, only 01-02 had the LS6 clutch, oh yeah ungraded hydralics for the clutch too. 98-00 had the regular LS1 clutch.

I might wrong about the LS6 heads. Didn't some come with 243 heads? Or were they all 241 heads?

I was under the impression that the WS6 has 5-10 ft-lbs more torque than the SS from a review I read. Maybe I'm wrong

Thanks that was a lil confusion on my part. I could have sworn i've heard of some 02's coming from the factory w/ 243's. There was a Z28 in the internal section that stated his came with them. But i know everything else i stated was right. Oh and one more addition to the above.

01-02 came with upgraded oil pump too didn't they?
