it has alot to do with the front end geometry over the rear end geometry.

id take a good 3 link/watts link over cobra IRS any day of the week and twice on friday.

however, they look good IMO. (not meaning to start ****, just what ive noticed)

AND WHY ARE WE ADMITTING WE ARE BEAT? we cant let them win EVER!!!!

you know what i'm saying though.. nobody keeps their car stock, and i'm no mustang enthusiast, but as far as the irs/live axle debate goes, they both have their advantages.

my question to the OP is, how often do you find yourself racing someone in the corners? most of my street racing has been from a roll, but there were a few times where i went from a dig because i knew that was the only way i could win haha.

cornering is fun and all, but when a stang pulls up next to you at a light, you're going to wish you had gotten some go fast mods over your springs and shocks.

Shouldnt be. I know which one is better. Buddy of mine had an SS and it rocked. Take out an 01 Cobra anyday. Now if it was an 03 Cobra vs SS. Then my vote would be alittle different..

I wouldn't be too worried about the seating position. I didn't think I was gonna like it at first either because you are literally sitting on the floor, but I loved it the first time I ever sat in it and put my hand on the wheel and shifter and looked through the windshield past a huge *** dash, it felt like a true performance car. The roof is also much lower which in my opinion looks badass, the windshield looks much more horizontal than vertical which is why there is such a huge piece of glass lol.

My buddy had a 04 gt that dynoed 285rwhp and I drove it a few times and it pulled pretty decent, but you sit quite a bit higher and I didn't like it all (although I'm used to the camaro). The shifter also felt like it was in an awkward position, like you had to lean forward to reach it. On a plus side the seats were more comfortable, quite a bit more padding. And when you put the two cars side by side it looks like the camaro was strictly built for performance, while still having a tasteful look; while the mustang looks like it was built to be pretty (but can still be modded to outperform the camaro).

And last but not least, mustangs are like ********, they're EVERYWHERE! It is cobra in question but overall the average person would never know the difference between the cobra and any other stang when driving by.
