Any LS1 powered F-body that was not a SS, WS6, Firehawk.

But we all know that this is underrated by a much as 45hp.

4.8L's originally were 275hp upgraded to 285hp in 04 or 05 I think.

Than you very much for all the answers. So 275hp is the lowest ever stated officially? I always thought there was some truck that had the lowest rating but that isn't the case then?

The reason for asking is that I'm building a kit car with an LS7 engine but we have this stupid rule in Sweden that you may not have more than 20hp/100kg in a kit car. This would mean that I could not have more than 200hp/2200lbs roughly. My car will not be much more than 2200lbs but if I could get an official rating on say 275hp I could temporarily increase the weight of the car for the registration in some creative ways They will probably not be able to tell the difference between an LS1 and an LS7 anyway so that part should be fine

As long as it's an LS engine it's ok 255hp starts to sound promising to me. Is this still in a Camaro?

Ok, it really doesn't matter if it's from a truck. But I would need to know exactly what model or models and years etc. etc. As much info as possible really The 255hp 4.8 is really what is intereseting now, anybody that could help me with that?
