Default Camaro SS or Trailblazer SS

I am debating on getting a Trailblazer SS or buying my dad's Camaro SS. Which would you buy?

Its all in what you want, thats kinda like saying I want either a vette or a civic, its all in what you like and what your needs of a car are, if its just a weekend toy or you dont need the room then go with the camaro, but if you need more room or just like drivin a suv go with the TB SS

both can be fast.. i know that. Seen those blazers hit mid 12s with bolt ons and converter. but i would say its all in what you really want. A performance sports car, or a performance suv. Do you plan on having a family anytime soon? or do you have a family already.. if so, i would get the TB, but if you dont have a family or dont plan on having a family soon, i would get the camaro...cant go wrong with either

Depends on your needs and where you live. If you have no kids or anything you don't need room for stuff and you don't get snow and ice then get the car. Otherwise I'd go with the TB for simple necessity

Pretty much agree with what everyone else has been saying so far. What year is the Camaro? I'm assuming you would be able to buy the Camaro for far less than the TB, especially since your dad currently owns the Camaro.

drive a tbss first, i did and absolutley hated it afterwards. i dont like the swaying feeling of suvs in high winds that we get in north dakota, but drive and decide.

This is how I would do it...

Consider these things..
-Is it going to be your everyday driver? And is it going to be your only car?
-is it going to be a family car?
-are you going to drive it in the winter (hopefully not though )
-Prices
-Are you a truck/SUV or car guy

If its going to be your family car.. I'd go with the TBSS, If you want more of a sporty car and arent going to be bringing a few people at a time in it often.. Go with the Camaro SS (not that the TBSS arent sporty though).

If your going to drive this vehicle in the winter, I'd definately go with the TBSS, but if its going to be a summer car, I'd go with the Camaro..

Hopefully that may help you with your decision.. But I like the Camaros more than the TBSS though.

If you need extra room.......Trailblazer

If you don't need the room........Camaro

Both are fast and fun, so it will come down to what you need this vehicle to do for you.

get the camaro (assuming you don't have family space needs in a vehicle).....we don't need more gaudy SUV's on the road.....there's too many of them already, and 95% of the people driving them, can't.

I have thought about getting a TBSS for a while now, but still never drove one. I love the way they look and are one of the most practical lsX's out there. Either way you go is a good choice so you can't really mess this one up

I am going to get a Procharger or Magnacharger. Then start a saving for the rear end I know I will have to buy. I know this is a common debate but which is better for a DD stock internals motor, Procharger or Magnacharger? I dont mind cutting the cowl but I am not sure if I want a roots style or serpentine.

Heres my $.02, I was looking at getting rid of my C6, I am very glad that I didnt.

The TBSS looks nice, has all the gizmos that the Vette has, but its no Vette. It was a pig, sucked up alot of gas, and really slow. I had to manually shift it to really feel the hp.

While it kind of blows I only have a 2 seater, I have not had the necessity for a big *** SUV.

Plus the TB doesnt get 32+ MPG on the highway like my C6 does.

I think you made a good choice. I love my truck but even grannyfootin it it still sucks up a ton of gas. And as far as chargers I would do the procharger. I just would hate to hack up a car to get something to fit. I believe the prochargers require no hacking.
