The times that I don't warm it up, I just drive real easy until it's up to temp which takes almost no time. I like that about this motor. And the heat the thing blows is great, even too hot. Of course the drawback is the heat in the summer, but the ac works great too.

Dude... That's the only way to do it.

Don't own an LS1 but anything I drive gets fired up and run, just don't beat on it till it's up to good temp.

Yeah, Crank and go!! I usually give the car enough time to warm up while I take off the T-tops or wipe the snow off the windows. Usually about 2 minutes

Ya, wipe the snow off before you take the T-tops off so it doesn't get wet inside, LOL.
J/K, it just looked funny how you wrote that.

I always let it warm up for a few minutes but not necessarily until the temp gauge moves. Usually I'll start it and then go around and take the t-tops off and stuff.

I fire my car up and idle it for 30 secs just to be sure it has good oil pressure then leave taking it easy on the car until everything is warmed up.

Its better to warm the engine and driveline up evenly instead of letting it idle and only warming up the engine and driving on a cold trans and rearend. Especially if you drive the car in the cold weather.

I'll let mine warm up when its cold. But, most of the time just hop in and go. Always easy on it till its entirely warmed up.

ALWAYS, before the cam swap I did for just a few min. After I do for 5-10 min. I run the hell out of it all the time.
