Default how's this for some ****?

I keep my ws6 outside and put a car cover on it. I went to sleep a couple nights ago and woke up to my cover being frozen solid. I left my backpack and my wallet in there and when I try to pull the cover off it feel like it's about to break apart. Plus I don't want ice scratching the car. Just sucks I can't get into my car, two days later it's still frozen and supposed to freeze tomorrow too. Damn Oklahoma weather, I just got that car. Plus I really need my wallet and backpack.
Thanks for letting me vent.

That sucks man. Try hot water...it will get you in the car without scratching it but you probably won't be able to get in again til spring. lol

I wouldn't recommend keeping a car covered outside over the winter. For reasons just like this.

It should be melted by now shouldn't it? Most of the ice is flimsy now! These ice storms suck badly!

Mistake #1 - NEVER leave your wallet/valuables in your car.
Mistake #2 - Do not use a car cover in the wintertime, especially if it is snowing and you need to drive the car. I know your intentions were good about keeping it neat/nice.
Sorry about your situation, bud. Hope it all works out.

OH GOD NO, sorry man, but hot water+frozen glass=oh crap.

Use cold water from the hose thats just about freezing temp and SLOWLY raise the temp of the glass/car cover. That should do the trick.

Well, glad I don't ever have to deal with this. I enjoyed our nice 75ish degree weather all day long.
