I was waiting for someone to say something about the hood, it just doesn't belong on a corvette, too cheesy. On the other hand, I believe Katech has a nice hood that would look perfect on the new ZR1. The one with the slots in it, I forget the name of it. IIRC, it was on the street attack C6Z package.
Otherwise, I can't wait to see what kind of numbers this ls9 is going to put down. I'm thinking LTs, pulley, and tune and these cars are going to be putting down some crazy *** numbers, not to mention carlengths on the competition. Get them on the factory floors already, these beasts need to hit the streets!

ZR1 corvette has anyone read up on this beast yet? it goes 11.0 in the quarter mile stock, and can go over 200 mph. Supercharged 6.2 liter, making 625 BHP.... absolutley sick.

Yea, we all know the people that test these cars at Car & Liar, motortrend, & etc can't drive as well as us, so I'm sure you'll be hearing about times faster than 11.0s stock

Technically hes wrong.. I forgot what its called but in the high 80s and early 90s there was a c4 corvette that had like 8-1000hp and had a top speed of 250mph. Look it up it has like oval back it doesn't look like a corvette the back of it looks like a ferrari

10's with a good driver. The ZR1 will be the fastest, quickest, most powerful, and bestest "Production" Corvette ever.

thats if they can even make it to production!! i would love to see this car out on the street, but they are going to have to do something to get past emissions...

Yea the new ZR1 is a badass car but im not that impressed. Personally if I had the cash and wanted to get a new vette id go with the estimated 40k cheeper ZO6. Then id take half the cash i saved, mod the ZO6 (procharger, full exhaust, ect) and eatup the ZR1. Dont get me wrong the ZR1s sweet, just not for me. I know with a factory supercharger it will be easy to get more out of the ZR1, but has anyone seen the brakes on this thing?????? Nice brakes, they say the pad size is twice that of the ZO6. Sweet huhh?? The same brakes that stop the Bugatti Veyron and the Ferrari FFX. But wait what happens when you need to swap out those carbon-ceramic rotors and pads?? Better go take out a small loan. I know that if you have the cash to drop on a new ZR1 money is problaby not to scarce for you, but anyone wanna take a stab @ the cost of these pads and rotors??? Just my 2cents..
