Don't expect it to be sold in America. If GM sells cars outside of America the Emissions laws have no effect. Hence the ZR1 can have a waiting list of 100+ people outside the US and GM will be happy to make it a not pass emissions.

I think on paper it has the power to weight, n gearing to get to 255, but stability wouldnt be there in my opinon.

blakern you are 100% correct. And the only video I see of this car is when I pop in a copy of PGR3 for my Xbox. Is there a video of the vehicle even running, or just pictures of it sitting in a museum?

Back on topic the ZR-1 will be a total BAMF

yeah I was just saying that when he said try a search it still applied to either car. I didn't remember hearing of a vette called the sledgehammer and it took me literally 30 seconds to find pictures and writing about it.

Read my post, # 34 for your proof.

Also, on a side note, the new ZR1 will make it to production. It will not have problems passing emmisions. The new CAFE laws don't take effect until 2020.

Then id take half the cash i saved, mod the ZO6 (procharger, full exhaust, ect) and eatup the ZR1. Dont get me wrong the ZR1s sweet, just not for me. I know with a factory supercharger it will be easy to get more out of the ZR1, but has anyone seen the brakes on this thing?????? Nice brakes, they say the pad size is twice that of the ZO6. Sweet huhh?? The same brakes that stop the Bugatti Veyron and the Ferrari FFX. But wait what happens when you need to swap out those carbon-ceramic rotors and pads?? Better go take out a small loan. I know that if you have the cash to drop on a new ZR1 money is problaby not to scarce for you, but anyone wanna take a stab @ the cost of these pads and rotors??? Just my 2cents..
GM says the rotors are good for the life of the car.... the people who can afford the car can afford the brake maintaince..

It's really impressive what GM can do when they have the desire and the 'suits' don't stop them.
