btw the reason for clogging was due to running extremely rich due to the computer sensing a lean mixture in bank 1, so the computer added more fuel instead

i wounldnt run it like that. itl cause horrible drivabiliy and u will melt your intake eventualy.and look for another mechanic. i can only speek from experience on this cuz i know a guy that had clogged cats and did just that on a 98 cobra(retard)

I read earlier that your getting painted headers, I would def. spend a little extra and get coated. It will help them last longer and help keep underhood temps down. I know most sponsers on here will do 500 shipped for coated headers and a Y pipe when I got them but the coating is def. worth the extra $$$

but the painted ones already come fully painted right??? and i know i wont be going into snow or anything like that!! im just on a very tight budget due to me not being able to drive the car and that i have to wait for the parts to come in and that i have to wait for the weekends to work on it so my brother can help, and i might as well do the poly motor mounts too! but i thought the coated polished headers are just for looks??
