I might be different from most, but I would rather have performance and actually go really fast and still look pretty good, than look ****** awesome and not live up to the hype...I dunno maybe its the anti ricer in me talkin...

I would go with the ls6 intake, tune, and whatever is left use it to start saving for something else

headers are no big deal at all man, just a pain to put in sometimes...and make sure that your exhaust is where it needs to be for the collector.

well I plan on getting the headers on then bringing it to a friend who's going to make me a custom y and run 3'' to the axle with two flowmasters dumped at the axle. he said he would hook me up for about $180. Ill be starting on the headers next week...but If I can get my cam done for $1000 or less I will. im waiting on a local shop to call me back and give me a total price of cam+install.

If it's an A4, I'd say stall it. Otherwise, suspension.

Here is some advice you may never here on this board...

Take that $1000 and invest it in a long term capital gain mutual fund like MCHFX (Matthews China, my personal cash cow). In 20 years who knows what it could be worth. It'll be way more than $1,000 though I can tell you that much!

The smartest thing I ever did was invest and learn about saving money.

Trust me, I am sure that $1,000 was hard to earn, but so easy to spend. Once you mod and you get the bug, that $1000 will turn into 10 gaurenteed.

Don't ask me how I know! Invest 10%-20% of your income, and splurge the rest on the car! Best of both worlds.

Depends on your goals. If you eventually want to do a H/C package, then just save up until you can afford it or get an intake and boxed sub frame conectors. What to get a stall until you know what cam you want. The key to moding your car is too only do things once and have a solid plan. Don't do a cam if you are going to do heads because the shop doing the H/C install won't charge as much if you do it all at the same time. Also, you will want to pick your heads and cam at the same time.
