Default Today I let her RIP!

I've had my SS LE for about a month now and have been babying her. Today, I was with my son and he said "Dad, when are you going to step on it?". I said to myself good question and told him, how about now. Turned the traction control off dropped the hammer and layed a nice stretch of rubber for neighbors to see in the morning!!
I forgot how much fun these cars are!!

Yeah, these cars are very fun to drive. My son loves "dowddy ca" (daddy's car) or "ahmani" (camaro).

I couldn't wait a whole month to feel the power. The dealer let me take it for a spin. My son was riding shotgun. I roasted the tires on the test drive. My son lost all desire to own a WRX. I drove it home. Took the wife for a ride and killed a mustang. It was a pretty good day.

Good story.

Don't forget to include your son on the tune-up sessions. Let him try to weasel his hand in their and get that number 8!

It's the only way to drive them, that's what they're made for.

My dad said the only fun he had in his old SS396 Chevelle was when I was about 5 yelling, "DO A BURNOUT!"... Funny thing is I say the same thing now

Not old enough to be a dad, but my younger brother who is just obtaining his driver's permit loves riding the shotty in my car.

I was afraid it was another wrecked f-body thread too.

Our first child is due in July, planning on still having my Camaro when they are old enough to enjoy it.

heh my daughter always tells me to "go fast, but dont speed!" she loves picking out camaros and corvettes as we drive along. shes always calling out c5! or c6, ect, it makes me smile every time. and loves learning stuff about exhaust, and aerodynamics..AT 8 lol. she will ditch watching hanna montana just to help me wash the car. little hands are good for #8, and helping get the bolts set on window motors.
child labor!
