Unhappy What did I do now?

I just got done pulling out my entire interior except for the dash. Carpet, seats plastics and everything. The previous owner had a aftermarket stereo in there which I also removed. Well, I set a bucket in the car so I can crank it up and put it in for the night and it wont start! The security light comes on and thats it. What is the problem?

does it FLASH? and when you turn the key what happens? like does it try and crank or does all the lights go out on the cluster and it's just a DEAD feeling when the key turns? if that's the case it's the VATS. You may have jiggled something loose under the dash when pulling all that stuff out.~Cole~

Hmm.. Maybe the battery is dead? It doesn't click I just turn the key on and my dash lights come on along with the a/c but the motor doesn't turn over.

Sounds like a dead battery from having the doors open for so long. Try that first.

umm dead battery.

if you don;t knwo whether a battery is dead, or what the neutral safety switch is, i would adivise against taking your interior out.

if you're not capable of doing it correctly, it's just gonna be a pain.
