Pass time on speed LSX cars! lol....keep an eye out for the CIVETTE and my non lsx powered lotus(lol) on Pass time on speed channel next week i hope......as long as it is the memphis shot episodes......

I watched Pass Time last night...not sure if it was a rerun or not. There was an 94 Gt Mustang on there last night with a Vortec and intercooler on it. One of hte questions they asked the owner was if the engine was built or forged. The owner said no just a great factory built ford motor. One guessed it would run 11.40 cause he told them it had 500 to 600 hp. I died laughing when it ran a very high 13. I think it was either 13.8's or 13.9's. What does nervous have anything to do with it. It's an auto. Just brake boost then mash the peddle. Clearly, the car was not putting out good power at all with only a 98mph trap. Most stock LS1s trap at least in the 100mph range.

I didn't hear any major wheel spin, he got out good but he's got no power.
Even most LSx car's that mess up the launch will do a bad time but still have a good trap speed. He'd be lucky to be pushing 300hp at the wheels with a 98mph
500hp my ***. He'd be breaking loose those nitto's and chirping each shift and still pulling 105+mph. I saw a cobra putting down around 450hp at the wheels but had **** traction. Did mid to high 13's all night BUT his trap speed was insane a few 115mph runs, avg around 110. That's what 500hp does, may not have traction to pull good times, but mph will always be a good indicator of power.

i agree i was going to get an 04gt and was doing research the rods in the "great factory ford motor" dont do past 450 hp so if he did hes on extremely short borrowed time.

Saw it the other day, you got that one car out of the hole pretty good. what did you run a 13.8 or somthing like that?
