It is a little pricey for a salvaged car, but the miles are low as hell. I guess the only way this could hurt you is when trying to resell the thing.
What kind of wreck was it involved in?

Seems like it would be a rare car if its hugger orange with a white interior. Don't think that combo is too common- but check the rpo codes to make sure that its original paint color and interior color.

Carfax will more than likely not show anything. Only 30 states actually report to the database for carfax. Even if it is one of those states it still may not prove to be that helpful. I have carfaxed many cars I knew for sure where damaged and they came up clean. Just a little info for ya, I mean its worth a shot. Just don't be surprised if nothing comes up.
A more useful approach may be to physically check the car out yourself. Go over it with a fine tooth comb and a very in depth test drive. If all of the repairs to the car have been done with quality parts and workmanship it will be fine. Salvaged cars are not all huge piles of ****. If it was repaired right you will know, it it wasn't you will know. I say just be careful check it out yourself and have a tech do a once over on it.
And yes, I would haggle them on the price. Like said above, the car is almost a decade old, salvage title and so on. I would not go over 7. Because you can find a lot nicer lsx's on the for sale forum here for 8-10k.

That's kinda what I was thinking. HO wasn't really made all that much, if it's supposed to be on there and was rebuilt correctly by a reputable shop, I would think about it, but would also haggle a little.

Find out what it would be worth without the salvage title in good condition. KBB isn't always accurate, so try to gauge the selling price by looking at closed auctions on eBay or checking out prices on Cars.com and Autotrader. Then take that price and cut it in half. That's what the salvage title will do if you ever plan on selling it. If you plan on keeping it for several years and don't care what the selling price is, take it to a mechanic and have them make sure the frame is within specs. That's what I did when I bought my truck with a rebuilt title (KBB was $12k, I paid $7200 out the door).
BTW, the price of $9400 does seem very high for the branded title. But I don't know Camaro prices. I paid $10,500 for my '99 t/a with 35k miles and a clean title.
