Default ls6 f body

I know some ls6s found there way into the engine bay from the factory but how many did that happen with, and what years?

2002 I believe but im not sure about 2001. I hear that its somewhere around 10% have the block. Mine does but its not really a big deal if you have one or not. There is not really a performance andvantage.

LS6 blocks, and intakes. i think the years were 2001-2002, but i can not be sure.

I know a few 99 30th Anniversary T/A's got some. At least, that's what I read in an old HPP magazine.

That would be 100% incorrect... It wasn't until 2001 that the Ls6 was even around, so it would be impossible for them to be in 99's....

So how do you tell if a car has one or not?
Isnt the LS6 just a drugged up LS1 anyway?

Search. This has been beaten over a billion times.

You can find out if its an Ls6 block by looking at the serial number on the block. Use the "search" feature for more details.
