if you mean the panel under and between the tail lights that that says camaro and is painted black on some cars, its called a 'berger' panel and you cant buy one. most either paint the stocker on the car or buy one from a junkyard or part out and paint it. i think the correct color is trim black, but some use gloss, semi-gloss, flat, etc...

Yeap, you're looking for a "Berger Panel"... Most can be had for around $50.00 when sold on these forums. Look for a black Camaro that's being parted out, that's how I got mine.

They call it the "Berger" pannel, because Berger chevrolet who made the "Berger SS" cars originally did it. it's just a regular pannel painted flat black. Some people fill in the letters and then paint it.

I've got one on my Arctic White '01 SS. Painted it gloss black. Really helps to give a nice contrast to the car. Thinking about doing the same to the red '99 SS. It's easy to remove the panel and sets your car apart from the stockers.

Damn that thing looks good. I like how the lights are tinted to flow with the panel, I plan on doing the same thing as soon as I can find some LT1 style tail lights...very nice

I already have the rear fill-ins, just need to find time to pull mine off and decide on what style of black to paint it. I'm thinking semi-gloss but will do some more searching before I decide.
