13k is a good price. Corvettes never depreciate under a certain percent of their original value. Even with high miles they are going to hold their value better than most cars. You may want to look into this, there are a lot of scammers out there.

13k sounds cheap to me....I would pay a little more to make sure I got one in excellent shape.

Well I went to look at it yesterday & it is all stock. No leaks what so ever that I could see. The interior was about a 5 out of 10 & the exterior was like a 7 out of 10. The ddiver & passenger door mirrors were held on by tape. They were some scratches & a dent on the top near the targa top. Seats where really worn out too. He said the he is not set on that price & would work on it.

My two cents: It's probably going to take more than 3000 dollars to bring it up to excellent condition. Unless you are satified with it's current condition, I'd walk away, and find one already in excellent shape.

The mirrors held on by tape is a huge red flag. What else has he neglected over the years? Yow!

I would say that is pretty big bright red flag right there. That sounds hideous!

I could not live with a car which has the mirrors held on by tape. No matter whether I was selling it or not. And if I was selling a car, I would definetely have such items fixed to make it more appealing to the prospective buyer.

Who knows what other stuff is held on with tape on there.
