Tail lights warped
I came up to my car one day and noticed but tail lights had dents in them. Same spot in both of them. Size of a golf ball. Not very noticeable unless at certain angles. My friend had the same thing when he bought his car. I was told its the bulbs heating up and just warping the plastic. Is that true or common??

This also happened on my 01 Camaro. It happened during the summer, I had always blamed it on the hot sun. It was most likely the bulbs as you said, I never thought of that. I suppose it is more common than it is rare. If it has happened to you two and myself.

That sucks, never noticed that on any camaro's, I'll have to look for that next time I see one in person. At least tails are semi-cheap compared to the f**kin front fenders that warp on T/A's (maybe that happens to camaros too, but I've only ever seen T/A's with that...)

Black outs will cause the warping tail lights. Not sure why else that would happen.
I've seen a handful of these warped tail lights too, but it's not all that common. I've had 3 4th gen Camaros and none have ever warped. I've probably seen 100 Camaros without warped tail lights for every 1 that is warped. Maybe it's more common in hotter climates.
As for the fenders, not sure what you guys are talking about with warping. My guess is, you're probably confusing warping with damage to the lower mounting tabs. If you (or someone else) jacks the car up wrong (using the mounting tabs) it'll make the fenders bow out at the bottom. It's not warping, and you can fix it by bending the tabs back in place.

I have seen that on MANY sets of taillights, but many more without them. I have never come to realization of any related situations that cause it. Neither of my cars ever did it though.

A local in my neighborhood has a WS6 that he used VHT nightshade on the tail lights. Its safe to say that they now have more waves in them than the atlantic ocean. Its a beautiful car, just noticed the waves. My Camaro doesnt have any deformations, but then again I dont have blackouts on them.
